Unfortunately we do not carry nor have instructions on board component parts and replacement. You may want to get with a company that does. Hayward recommends that these boards be replaced.

Question

Asked on 07/04/2015 by Vickie

My Goldline Aqua rite system is not generating. The power line is not lite and the chlorinate lite will only come on for a minute. Do I need a new board? Where do I find the model number or part number?

Inyo Answer

Answered on 07/05/2015 by Product Specialist Patrick P.

Hi Vickie, yes your issues are most likely due to a bad AquaRite PC Board. As long as you have an Aquarite salt system then this is the correct PC Board as this board is backwards comptible to all older versions of the Aquarite.

Question

Asked on 06/29/2015 by Scott

I have an Aqua Rite salt system its around 10 years old. i added salt ( may be too much ) and i have no power lights or any lights but the display led still reads 2800 but no generation. I called hayward the tech had me push the diognostics twice it read 5.5 he then said the main pcb board is gone. On your web site under tips it said if the board is gone all lights would be yellow. i have no lights?

Inyo Answer

Answered on 07/01/2015 by Product Specialist Lennox H.

Hi Scott, There are several things that can happen to indicate that the PCB Board on a Aqua-Rite system is bad, no light is one. You also troubleshoot it with Hayward Tech Support and they indicated that the board needs to be replaced.

Question

Asked on 06/27/2015 by Billy

Can I use the old display when installing a new RITE board

Inyo Answer

Answered on 06/28/2015 by Product Specialist Dennis R.

Billy, The Aqua Rite Control Unit has two PCBs, the main PCB and the Display PCB. The display is integrated into the Display PCD. You do not have to buy a new Display PCB when you replace the Main PCB unless it was damaged.

I have a goldline g1-066012c-1 . the display board shows plc on the screen , what does that mean? do i need to replace the board?

Inyo Answer

Answered on 06/23/2015 by Product Specialist Lennox H.

Hi Ted, I'm unable to find "PLC" as an error code in the Goldline Aquarite Owners Manual, you may need to call Hayward Tech Support at 908.355.7995 to find out what that means before replacing the Aqua Rite Main PCB (GLX-PCB-RITE).

Question

Asked on 06/15/2015 by

I have the aqua rite system and I am not getting a salt reading or an instant salinity reading (Both reading 0). When the system is turned on after a minute or so, Check Salt and Check cell lights come on. Is this a PCB problem or bad cell, Everything was fine yesterday. No readings today. yesterday

Inyo Answer

Answered on 06/16/2015 by Product Specialist Dennis R.

Make sure that your cell cable is plugged in securely. Then have a local pool store check your salt level to verify that it is not too low whick turns off your chlorine generation. If these suggestion do not work and your average salt reading is still showing 0, you probably have a faulty PCB.

Question

Asked on 06/09/2015 by michael Sodomin

I have a main PCB part number 066012C-1 Rev.C. The display board reads HOT and I have been told the likely culprit is the main PCB. Am I correct in understanding that the replacement for this is GLX-PCB-RITE?

Inyo Answer

Answered on 06/11/2015 by Product Specialist Patrick P.

Hi Michael, You can unplug the cell then press the diagnostic button. The PCB should read 77. If this is the case, verify that the water is not above 140 degrees (solar possibly on). If the water is not that warm, the cell will need to be replaced. The PCB would need to be replaced only if the temp still read hot after unplugging the cell and cycling through the diagnostics. This would be an extremely rare seen problem.

Question

Asked on 04/13/2015 by Allison

Are the glx-pcb-main and the glx-pcb-rite the same?

Inyo Answer

Answered on 04/13/2015 by Product Specialist Patrick P.

Allison, The GLX-PCB-RITE is for the AquaRite Salt System and the GLX-PCB-MAIN is for the AquaLogic Automated Control System. The AquRite would be a standard salt system where the AquaLogic is an Automated Control System with a Salt System. This means that the AquaLogic would normally also control equipment like lights, pumps, air blower etc. The control of this equipment is done through a remote control. So if you have the AquaRite you require the GLX-PCB-RITE and if you have an AquaLogic you require the GLX-PCB-MAIN

Pros: Easy to install

Lightning destroyed my original board. I called INYO Pool Products and it was in stock, they sent it overnight to my home. In less than 10 minutes it was up and running. Very easy to install and I saved money by doing it myself. I originally called the factory, they were rude and not much help. I called INYO Pool Products, they knew what I needed and were more than helpful. I am completely happy now.

Pros: Easy, clear instructions

Cons: Other models included in instructions

Much easier to install than I had anticipated. Even though the directions included replacement for several different models the steps and illustrations were very clear. The whole process took about 20 minutes (I'm slow) and the system was up & running great.
