Hi, John. The issue could be the motor or the relay if you have an automation controller. I will need to know the model of the controller in order to provide troubleshooting suggestions.

A     Answered on 7/9/2017 by InyoPools Product Specialist Lennox H.

Hi, Ronnie. The Aftermarket Board is as good as the OEM. Both boards have a 1 year warranty, the OEM board must be professionally installed. NOTE: If you have the T-CELL-5 or T-CELL-3 or an automation system (AquaLink, AquaLogic, ProLogic, IntelliTouch and EasyTouch), then we suggest the Hayward OEM Circuit Board GLX-PCB-RITE

Our Goldline is not reading the salt correctly even when reset. The cell is clean and has been checked. We took the board out but don't see any burn marks or loose solders. We have solid lights on Power, Check Salt and Check Cell (no generating). I've done a reset and get it to fast blinking & generating - but that goes to solid the next day. The pool shop says my salt is 4800 (high) but the Goldline reads 2700 (up from 2600 after the reset). Ideas?

A     Answered on 8/4/2016 by InyoPools Product Specialist Lennox H.

Hi Alaina, The cell could be bad not reading the correct salt level. You can contact you local pool store to see if they can test your cell.

My recent problem is when the system turns on it starts generating but shortly thereafter the check salt and check lights come on. Sometimes they flash other times they just stay lit. The salt cell is fine and the salt level is 3200. Is this another noard issue or an issue with the sensor?

Hi Gary, They are a few steps that you can try that is located in the Aqua-Rite Troubleshooting Guide to find out the cause.

Every time I turn up the control it goes into failure saying too much salt and over chlorine. I need help ?? Or should I bite the bullet and buy a non generic version of the board as I was originally. PS also reset the diagnostics several time.

Eric, It sounds like the cell size was not properly selected on the board. Please confirm that the cell size on the board (press diagnostics 8x) and the cell size you actually have are the same.

I have no cell power readying on my Aqua Logic Automation and Chlorination Goldline Controls PN# G1-066008M-1. If I need to be a new circuit board which one do I need to buy? I'm also thinking about replacing the Omron G8P-1C4P 24VDC to see if a new one will fix the issue before I buy a new board. Is that a good idea? Thanks for your time. Jay

A     Answered on 9/3/2015 by InyoPools Product Specialist Lennox H.

Hi Jay, You can try to replace Omron G8P-1C4P 24VDC but if that does not solve your problem you will have to replace the AquaLogic PCB Circuit Board (GLXPCBMAIN).

Hello Chuck - The GLXPCBRITE will work with all the revisions of the Aqua Rite. We have a guide on "How to Replace an Aqua Rite Main PCB".

I have four year old Aqua Rite Salt Chlorine Generator. PCB G1-011056-1 RevB. System not generating chlorine. CUR Limiter AS32 2R025 is cracked and may be the reason system is not working. Can this part be replaced on existing PCB board and if so what is procedure to replace. Thank you

Unfortunately we do not carry nor have instructions on board component parts and replacement. You may want to get with a company that does. Hayward recommends that these boards be replaced.

My Goldline Aqua rite system is not generating. The power line is not lite and the chlorinate lite will only come on for a minute. Do I need a new board? Where do I find the model number or part number?

A     Answered on 7/5/2015 by InyoPools Product Specialist Patrick P.

Hi Vickie, yes your issues are most likely due to a bad AquaRite PC Board. As long as you have an Aquarite salt system then this is the correct PC Board as this board is backwards comptible to all older versions of the Aquarite.

I have an Aqua Rite salt system its around 10 years old. i added salt ( may be too much ) and i have no power lights or any lights but the display led still reads 2800 but no generation. I called hayward the tech had me push the diognostics twice it read 5.5 he then said the main pcb board is gone. On your web site under tips it said if the board is gone all lights would be yellow. i have no lights?

A     Answered on 7/1/2015 by InyoPools Product Specialist Lennox H.

Hi Scott, There are several things that can happen to indicate that the PCB Board on a Aqua-Rite system is bad, no light is one. You also troubleshoot it with Hayward Tech Support and they indicated that the board needs to be replaced.

Can I use the old display when installing a new RITE board

A     Answered on 6/28/2015 by InyoPools Product Specialist Dennis R.

Billy, The Aqua Rite Control Unit has two PCBs, the main PCB and the Display PCB. The display is integrated into the Display PCD. You do not have to buy a new Display PCB when you replace the Main PCB unless it was damaged.

I have a goldline g1-066012c-1 . the display board shows plc on the screen , what does that mean? do i need to replace the board?

A     Answered on 6/23/2015 by InyoPools Product Specialist Lennox H.

Hi Ted, I'm unable to find "PLC" as an error code in the Goldline Aquarite Owners Manual, you may need to call Hayward Tech Support at 908.355.7995 to find out what that means before replacing the Aqua Rite Main PCB (GLX-PCB-RITE).

I have the aqua rite system and I am not getting a salt reading or an instant salinity reading (Both reading 0). When the system is turned on after a minute or so, Check Salt and Check cell lights come on. Is this a PCB problem or bad cell, Everything was fine yesterday. No readings today. yesterday

A     Answered on 6/16/2015 by InyoPools Product Specialist Dennis R.

Make sure that your cell cable is plugged in securely. Then have a local pool store check your salt level to verify that it is not too low whick turns off your chlorine generation. If these suggestion do not work and your average salt reading is still showing 0, you probably have a faulty PCB.

I have a main PCB part number 066012C-1 Rev.C. The display board reads HOT and I have been told the likely culprit is the main PCB. Am I correct in understanding that the replacement for this is GLX-PCB-RITE?

A     Answered on 6/11/2015 by InyoPools Product Specialist Patrick P.

Hi Michael, You can unplug the cell then press the diagnostic button. The PCB should read 77. If this is the case, verify that the water is not above 140 degrees (solar possibly on). If the water is not that warm, the cell will need to be replaced. The PCB would need to be replaced only if the temp still read hot after unplugging the cell and cycling through the diagnostics. This would be an extremely rare seen problem.

Hi Craig, The symptoms the power light on and no salt reading and no generating chlorine reading indicates a bad Main PCB. We would suggest replacing your current Aquarite board with the board listed on this page.

Hi Rich, It does sound like your board is bad and I would feel cofident that replacing your board would fix your problem. This would be the correct AquaRite replacement board based on the part #'s you supplied.

?     Asked on 4/13/2015 by Allison

Are the glx-pcb-main and the glx-pcb-rite the same?

A     Answered on 4/13/2015 by InyoPools Product Specialist Patrick P.

Allison, The GLX-PCB-RITE is for the AquaRite Salt System and the GLX-PCB-MAIN is for the AquaLogic Automated Control System. The AquRite would be a standard salt system where the AquaLogic is an Automated Control System with a Salt System. This means that the AquaLogic would normally also control equipment like lights, pumps, air blower etc. The control of this equipment is done through a remote control. So if you have the AquaRite you require the GLX-PCB-RITE and if you have an AquaLogic you require the GLX-PCB-MAIN
