Alternate Part #'s SPX1070KHR
The SPX1070K is no longer available. It has been replaced by the SPX1070KHR.
Could I use the SPX1070KHR in place of the SPX1071K skimmer weir? I have the SP1071 Hayward Skimmer, the two weirs look similar but have different prices.

The Hayward SPX1070KHR and SPX1071 are not interchangeable. The Hayward SP1070 Skimmer requires a hinged weir door and the SP1071 Skimmer uses a spring loaded door.

The flapper that broke off my skimmer is a model SP1070-K. Do I need a replacement kit or can the flapper be replaced?

Hayward has discontinued the SP1070K and now only sell the SP1070KHR weir kit which does include the SP1070K weir / flapper.

I have lost the screws out of the model sp1070k door I have. What are my options since the SP1070K door is no longer sold. Can I get the 3 screws that went into the strip?
