I have a older Hayward Rs1500 pump 1 1/2 hp motor it has an Emerson eb796 motor now I need to replace what is my replacement motor thanks in advance

Hi Jim, the correct single speed motor replacement for your motor model EB796 is the B796. You will also need a Hayward Super II seal kit when you replace your motor. We put together this Video on How to Replace a Pool Pump Motor which you may find helpful when you tackle this project.
