Hi. Will this part replace my Hayward Phoenix pool cleaner wheels? I thought the part number for my particular cleaner was Pvx075pk2-207, I cannot sorce this part. ?. Thanks

My aquanaut 250 has climbed walls very well for over a year, but no longer. Treads don't appear worn down, still 1/2" of tread, but could they be worn ? How to tell ?

Hello Chiller. The AquaNaut 250 tires have wear marks located in several places around the circumference of the tire (small bumps on the outside of the tire fingers) Once tire wear reaches these marks it is time to replace the tire. A diagnostic tool to determine if the filter is the cause of the slow down in cleaner performance: remove the filter element from the cartridge filter, replace the top lid and turn the pump on. If the cleaner climbs the wall again, the filter element needs cleaning or replacement. If you have a DE filter, place the Multiport Valve in the re-circulate (or boost) position and observe the cleaner. If it climbs the wall, then the DE Filter needs a backwash or entire breakdown and clean.
