Product Description

Single Circuit Freeze Protections Controls
These Freeze Protection Controls are designed to protect the pool and spa equipment and plumbing against freeze damage. They turn ON the pump and the heater when the outdoor temperature drops below the temperature set by the user adjustable thermostat. Models without timer connect to a timing or switching device and together, they control operation of the equipment as well as protect it against freeze damage. Models with timer provide both automation and protection for the equipment.

Applications:
• Filter Pumps
• Filter Pump/Booster Pump Combinations
• Waterfalls
• Water Features

** PLEASE NOTE: If ordered, this mechanism may come with a mechanical timer, not a digital timer as pictured above. Intermatic has changed back to mechanical timer for these freeze protect mechanisms. Inyo Pools does not guarantee which timer type will be shipped. **

I currently have a PF1102T installed, but it needs to be replaced. I'm confused about which specific piece of pool equipment I need to look at to determine whether I can use the PF1103T instead. What confuses me is that while both the 1102 and the 1103 say they can be used for 120/240 v, and while I think I understand having to wire the neutral if I get the 1103, I don't understand the part of the 1103 instructions which say "Both models are designed to operate either on 120 volt or 240 volt, 60

We spoke with our Intermatic sales rep. and he stated that the 1103 model is designed to accomodate 4 wires - 1 Neutral, 2 Hots & 1 Ground and the 1102 is designed to accomodate 3 wires - 2 Hots & 1 Ground. Intermatic stated that you should be able to look at the wires going to your pump or the wires going to your breakers to determin if you have 3 or 4 wires. Thanks!

How do I clear unwanted timer settings...Model PF1102T?

It appears , according to the manual, that by removing the unwanted trippers would take out any and all setting for the time clock. PF1102T
