This is the replacement cartridge only for both the in-ground and above ground pool models of the Nature2 Express.
If you need the complete Nature2 Express system, we carry the In-Ground pool model and the Above Ground pool model.
It is recommended that you replace your Nature2 cartridge every 6 months. After 6 months, there is not enough residual silver in the cartridge for proper sanitization.
Please note: you may need to replace it within 3 - 5 months if you live in an area with high temperatures, run your pool filter 24 hours/day and/or have heavy bather loads.
I would like to know what type of weekly maintenance (chemicals) is necessary with the Nature2 system?

With the Nature2 you would maintain your pool the same way as if you did not have Nature2. The only thing that will change is that you will maintain a lower chlorine residual with the Nature2. Instead of maintaining a chlorine residual of 3.0, you would maintain a chlorine residual of 1.5 with Nature2. This results in using approximately 50% less chlorine.

Will the Nature 2 cartridge last 6 months no matter what?

No, higher temps, 24 hour filtration and heavy bather loads will decrease the life span of the cartridge to approximately 3-5 months.

Does the nature 2 express cartridge fit all Nature2 Express frames? I have an existing one and just want to make sure i get the right replacement cartridge.

Hello Mike - Cartridge number 20092 will fit any of the Nature2 Express Vessels.

Hi, I was not able to find any information on the Nature 2 AQTG 35 Unit. You can contact Zodiac at 7.800.822.7933 to confirm if the Nature2 Express Cartridge Only (W28175) will work.

1. I have done this many times before, turn off the pump, remove the old cartridge and put in the new one. Turn pump back on and check for leaks.
2. That is where the problem came in....I could not get the new cartridge to stop leaking. I removed, cleaned and re-lubed it 5 times. Still no luck.
3. Out of desperation, I removed the cartridge again, removed the O-ring and inspected the O-ring groove. Sure enough the grove had two small ridges from the mold halves in the O-ring groove. I removed the ridges with a very small chisel and cleaned the groove. Lubed it up, put the O-ring back and the leak was fixed. Seems that QA at the factor isn't picking up on this.

I have been using this product for a couple of years now. It has given us no problems at all. We have used this along with a inline and offline chlorinator and Pool Perfect w/Phos Free. I have had to maintain a pool on and off my whole life and this is the most maintenance free combination I have found. I can keep my chlorine levels lower and use non chlorine shock.

Great Filter to help maintain the chemical balance of the pool water. No algae whatsoever this past summer. Buying on-line worked great, where most local retailers no longer readily carry. Change every 6 months to maintain. Easy to change.
