Polaris Vac-Sweep 360 - No Booster Pump Required!
Our most advanced pressure-side automatic pool cleaner that operates without a booster pump. The Polaris 360 easily connects to a dedicated pressure line and is suitable for all in-ground pools. It sweeps, scrubs, and vacuums the bottom, walls, and steps of all pool surfaces. It also traps large debris, like leaves and pebbles, in its own filter bag.

I have a Polaris 360 and a booster pump. My booster pump went out a couple of months ago so I replaced it for about $300.00. Now the pool guy is saying I purchased the wrong cleaner, that it does not require a booster pump. I there any way to bypass the booster pump so I don't have to by another cleaner? The cleaner is only 9 months old.
Hi, Tammy. You will have to plug the booster pump line after having it removed. Then you will have to convert one of your return lines to operate the Polaris 360.
At first, I got the polaris 280 with booster pump, but I have to return it to retailer since I dont have a dedicated suction/return line and I dont want to install one. All I have is two skimmers at the deep end, and 3 returns all with small diameter (2 of which are near the stairs on the shallow side, and one is in the medium depth side). I'm new to pools and my terms might not be right.
Can I install the Polaris 360 on my pool? Do I need to install an adapter on my main return line?
A Polaris 360 will work depending on what size pump you have installed. You may need to plug off the other returns if the pump is undersized or install smaller return jets. You will need to install the adapter to attach the cleaner which is supplied with the cleaner. Be certain you fittings are threaded as the adapter is threaded.
Polaris pool sweep seems to only work intermittently. It stalls at the end of its hose, turns on its side or will not level off.
Here a few possible solutions. Solution: 1. The filter bag is full and weighing the cleaner down on one side. 2. Remove the head float and shake it. If there is water in the float, order a new one. 3. The feed hose should float evenly on the surface of the poo
I have a polaris 180,I need 3 replacement rubber wheels; How much where do I buy them?
We have a Jandy variable speed pump. Will the Polaris 360 run at the low (Energy efficient) speed or only the higher speeds?
Hello Reenie, there normally is a "quick clean" button which will put your pump up to a higher HP when running your pool cleaner and after a certain time frame it will go back to normal setting slowing down HP and stopping your cleaner.
I have an existing booster pump. can the Polaris 360 work with this pump?
Hi John, A booster pump is not recommended to operate this unit. However if you do use one, you will have to regulate the water flow.
What hp does the pump need to be for the polaris that does not require a booster?
I have a polaris that is approx. 10 yrs. old and have had it worked on several times but I think it is worn out because it will only work on the deep end. It has a booster so if I bought one without the booster will it connect without any changes to my jets, etc. It sounds like it would be more energy efficient without the booster pump running.
Thank you for your question. The Polaris 360 cleaner runs off of the pool's standard return jet. Since you are not using an additional booster pump, you will save on energy costs. Please keep in mind that your pool pump will have to be powerful enough to run the cleaner. If it is not, you may have to upgrade your pool pump.

Pros: Easy to install.
Cons: Attaching the hoses is a little tricky.
The Polaris 360 was easy to install, except when you try to attach the hoses together, you have to get the right "groove" to avoid leakage. If you have a leakage, the cleaner gets stuck on the steps and doen't have enough power to "free" itself.

Pros: Price, value, service
My new Poloaris 360 arrived this weekend and we set it up in 10 mins flat. It started making a difference in the first 20 mins. I am sorry I put up with my old one so long, the big wheel had fallen off and we spent more time brushing and netting than swimming. Now we can enjoy the pool without the pool-work. One note we had an extra length of hose ( maybe for bigger pools) once removed its performning even better. Just in time for the 4th pool party. Thank you INYO for great products price and service!
