This pool cleaner was a real life saver. I had tried other cleaners and they were a handful to get set up, never cleaned the pool to my satisfaction and was just very frustrating. The Dolphin Dynamic Pool Cleaner w/Remote & Caddy was easy to use and it does not put a strain on my pool pump. The hardest part is cleaning the cloth bag but even that is preferable to having to use a throw away bag and worry about running out of bags or even finding the kind you need. You just place this cleaner in your pool and let it on its way to cleaning your pool. The Remote comes in handy to get the spots it misses on its runs. I would highly recommend this pool cleaner.

I purchased this item to clean my 22,000 gallon inground vinyl liner pool. The shape is a free form called mountain lake. First problem came right away, in that it was advertised as dynamic same as 2001 model but with a remote and programmable, I opent hte box to a letter stating that there is a new remote and new power supply. This new remote now renders the device UN-PROGRAMMABLE, i am stuck with preloaded programs of standard or quick clean, or manual operation. Second problem is that the remote doesn't work,turn it on and it doesn't recognoze a dolphin robot.
The operation of hte unit also is a disappointment, i put it in and it starts to clean, but once it hits the deep end, it cleans the same 2 sections of the wall over and over for 3 hour. I have moved the flots, removed the floats, changed ar positions, no matter what position and float configuration i had the same results were had.
To top it off INYOPOOLS was no help whatsoever. A brand new out of box item that is 1- not sold as described, 2 not working upon receipt, to have them tell me that i need to call someone else for help, and that returning hte item would cost me $180.00, a definite way to send me elsewhere for any and all future purchases.

this is my first pool & 1st pool cleaner. surprising how much gung is in there but the cleaning is not as instantly as you may think. But it does climb walls, easy to set up and clean. remote is great for missed spots.it's $200 cheaper at costco. it can't climb steps so the shallow baby pool needs to be cleaned with use of remote, not automatically. but it beats cleaning with vacum.
