Does this pump have a timer? I have this model but it just has an off off switch can't figure out if it has a timer and how it works.

Hi, This system does not have a timer, you will have to manually turn the pump On/Off at low or high speed. You can use the Hayward Above Ground Pool Pump Timer Microprocessor (SP1500FT) to control this pump.

What's the GPM on Low Speed and High Speed Sufficient for Intex 12 x 24 of about 8400 gallons

Hi Bob, Click link "Hi-Flo Pump Performance Data" to view the flow rate of high and low speed. The flow rate will vary depending on the feet of head of the pool. When the pump is on low speed it will be sufficient to circulate the water.
