Hello Jack - The ports are 2" on the Hayward CX800AA2 filter body.

We have a 4-year-old Hayward StarClear C-800 B filter system. The filter housing has a pin hole leak and needs to be replaced. Will this do the job?

Are the inlet and outlet ports, on the filter housing body, threaded or smooth? Am adding a photo to show you my Hayward C800 filter connections. It looks like the installer glued the PVC pipe to the outlet.

The ports on a c800 filter are 2"threaded, I assume there is a reducer to receive a 11/2" pipe?

Hi Daniel, yes you can use a reducer fitting 7194-0 to adapt from 2 inches to 1.5 at the port.
