My original in ground pool lights went out after 12 years. I have the Pentair Spectrum Amerilite (SAM) unit in both my pool and connecting spa. The nomenclature on my unit says: No. T-826048 light fixture with bulb type MR16, 75 W, bulb series 600015, 600016, 600017 and 600022.
Can I replace my SAM light bulbs with an upgraded bulb (ie an LED bulb)? If so, which should I replace with? Thank you.

Hi Bill, Unfortunately there is not an LED bulb replacement for the SAM lights. If you wanted to upgrade to LED then you would require replacing your entire pool and spa light fixtures. I have 2 JANDY COLOR LIGHTs in my pool and a small one in the spa. The Number on the housing says JPL120100 165 watt 120v 2 75watt. Are all the lamps in each light (8ea.)MR16 eyc 120 volt bi pinI\. I need all 16 lamps

Hi Dave, These are the correct replacement bulbs for the Jandy WaterColors JPL120100 which requires 8 bulbs. You may want to look into replacing the complete light fixture, the cost of the bulb and the lens gasket is no longer available.

I have a Jandy Colors light in my pool that went out. Do I need to get all 8 bulbs to replace?

Hi. If all the bulbs are blown then you'll need to replace them all or make sure that the fixture isn't bad.

I have to Jandy Colors model JPL12050 in my pool now that are not working. Can you tell me is there a replacement that can be substituted without replacing the Niche. If there is do you carry them?

Hi, Tom. We will need to know the model of your niche in order to locate a suitable replacement. However, can use the Hayward ColorLogic Universal LED Fixture or the Color Splash Pool LED Fixtures.

Cons: One went out early
I ordered 4 of these lights and 3 worked great but one went out after about 1 week of operation. Fluke??
