Is there anything I can use in lieu of this obsolete clamp?

Unfortunately there is no replacement for the DEX2400J. The only option we have is to replace the entire filter.

Thomas, if you are looking for just NUT, BRASS SLEEVE 5/16" -24 (DEX2400JN) - Limited Qty 4810-36. That part is still available in limited quantities.

Is there any kind of replacement filter clamp assembly for Hayward DEX 2400J which is listed as obsolete

There is no substitute for the obsolete clamp.

Hi Tom, yes this clamp was compatible with the Hayward Micro Clear model D.E. 4800 filter but is no longer available with no replacement. You may be able to locate a used one or consider replacing the entire filter.
