Pentair DE Filter Clamp Assembly for 18" DE Filters as well as other pool filters listed below. Item # 181011 *For filters manufactured prior to 1991
*Filters manufactured before 04/92 contain a different clamp band assembly. Replacement clamp band components are no longer available for these units. Replace old obsolete non-spring design clamp band with new spring design clamp band to upgrade your filter if any components are damaged. Spring design clamp bands do not require use of a torque wrench and simplify installation of the clamp. Do not attempt to interchange components between the different clamp band designs.

I see the response that this clamp is correct for a NS48, but just wondering if the 22" is the diameter? The diameter is close to 22", but closer to 21 so just wanted to confirm this will work on the Nautilus NS48. Thanks!

HI Dennis, The Clamp Assy.18" NS & PF35 (181011) would work on the Nautilus NS48 Filter.

Hello, According to the Pac Fab Nautilus Stainless D.E. Parts diagram, yes this clamp is the correct replacement part for the Nautilus NS48.

Diagrams at INYO guided me to the right parts and Eric confirmed. Parts arrived when promised.
It took a little time to line up the top and bottom halves of the filter shells, not unexpected w/ equipment of this age. After the top and bottom were correctly aligned, patiently alternated tightening the brass tension nuts and springs, tapping the tension band in the center working out toward the ends w/ the rubber mallet. The bear trap here is that most folks tighten one side first before doing the other side. Patience pays off, alternating from side to side tightening a little more each time and using the rubber mallet to ensure the tension band seats correctly.
