I have an older Polaris 360 pool cleaner 25 years old. serial #L 521798 . I broke the feed pipe. I checked and the one online doesn't look like it will fit. part # 9-100-1002. Mine is a 2 piece with separate back up valve/ timer. Does anyone know if that part will work?

Hi Robert, If you have the older feed pipe timer you will need the Conversion Kit-360 (9-100-3200).

Does this feed pipe come with a hose nut? If not if you buy a hose nut seperately, does it fit over the top of the tube. I have one currently and it looks like the hose nut would come pre installed on feed pipe.

Hi, Rob. A Hose Nut - 9-100-3109 is not included with this Feed Pipe - 9-100-1002, it will have to be purchased separately.

Hello Luke.  Based on the description provided,  the Zodiac Feed Pipe 360 w/timer blank (9-100-1002) should be the only part necessary to complete the repair.  Attached please find an exploded part diagram for the Polaris 360.  This will assist in understanding the repair.  Remove the top assembly.  Loosen the screws anchoring the Axle Blocks (key 12 in the diagram) just enough to move the blocks from on top of the screws anchoring the chassis.  These 4 screws are located in the corners, remove them.  Remove the 3 screws holding the Feed Pipe.  Gently lift the chassis, about 1/2' is all that is required.  Rotate the feed Pipe 1/4 turn counterclockwise.  The Feed Pipe should slide right out of its socket in the base.   Lube the o-ring on the bottom of the new Feed Pipe and re-assemble in reverse order of dissembling.   Polaris 360 Head
