This knob locks the filter head in place.
We have the c1900 series. Will this fit?

Hi Jeanie, The Locking Knob-CX1750G is the correct one for the C1900 Filter.

It works, but need to replace about every two years because the threads strip out of it eventually (Brass against steel).
