why is it called an adapter? i have 2 inch U11-200P STA-RITE P.V.C. union, I need O-rings can you help

Hi Dave, sometimes an o-ring can fit several items, this is my guess on why the product name says adapter o-ring. However, the 5057-26 is the correct o-ring for the Sta-Rite U11-200P union. You can view your Union parts on the Sta-Rite Union Page I believe your union is the second picture.

Finding this O-Ring for a 2 inch inlet was amazing! I have had this filter for 5 years and it seems like every year when we open the pool we are missing this O-Ring. I have tried to order it from other sites and because it is the O-Ring for the incoming pipe and not inside the filter I couldn't find the right fit. This O-Ring fits the incoming 2 inch pipe that leads from the pool pump into the filter opening perfectly.
