Hi Ted, This o-ring will fit if your unit was manufactured after November 1994. We can not tell based on the model number, if you have the serial number you can contact Pentair at 800.831.7133 to find out when the unit was manufactured and which o-ring you will need.

Will this replace the original O-ring (the largest one that separates the top and bottom halves) for My American Products Model #56629100, Serial # 001337

help,,, My KDI filter tag is wash out however i can make out the model # 584090 but no clue about the MFG date. I am looking to replace the O-ring and not sure of the correct part # I ordered one that looks too small from prior to 1994 date. item # 4655-10A. I can assume the one after 1994 is correct but I can't tell from the pic if it would be. Any one with experience that can assist? Thanks

Hi Andrew, The KDI Filter was made by American Products and is the same as American Products Titan 48sqft #58409000 in regards about getting the o-ring before or after 1994 I would suggest purchasing both and returning the one that does not fit. You just be responsible for the shipping back.

I have one of them already, looks too round. The one on there is not round but shaped. I don't know if it is because it is pressure and molded to the shape, nor can I tell id the after 1994 is the same shape. the pic online does not do it justice, Can u tell me if the 1994 and later model is not perfectly round and longer on one side. Rater hard to describe. I better pic would help me determine. Do u have one?

Hi Andrew, This o-ring is round. Many times after years of use the originally round o-ring will be mishapened. If you already tried the other o-ring then I would be fairly confident that this one would work. This is the best close-up photo of this o-ring we have - Close Up Photo of O-Ring
