According to the manufacture Pentair this light is not recommended for Intex pools.

Do you know what size the punch is in the steel wall? Looking to replace a light with a 3 5/8" punch. Thanks

Will the Quasar 500 replace in fit and form the 500w 120v 50' Swimquip (05086-0050)? Is the Quasar 500 an LED light and what is the voltage and current required of the lamp? What are the dimensions of what appears to be the power supply for the Lamp?

Hi John, No the Quasar will not replace a Swimquip (05086-0050). If you want a color changing LED Light for the SwimQuip light then you will need this Color Splash LED 120V Light for SwimQuip

I would like to look at the instruction & Installation document for the Quasar 500 Complete. Is the light source a Light Emitting Diode and does it produce similar light output as a 500 Watt halogen lamp. I would like to replace the light, see images below, in my inground pool.
