I purchased pl5811 and feel it isn’t strong/bright enough. Will this LXG LED be better? I noticed the pl5811 has only 12 watts and this one has 23. I don’t want to purchase another bulb one day after the last one but I would like more light in the pool.

Hi, Bonnie. This LXG bulb is brighter than the PL5811. Cleaning or replacing the fixture lens will allow the bulb to be maximized.

I have a Sta-Rite metal ring that measures 8.5" outside edge to outside edge. The gasket has ten (10) holes in it and measures 7-5/8" in diameter. The lense has ten (10) holes along the perimeter and measures 7-3/8" in diameter. Do you have a gasket for this light system?

A  Answered on 4/27/2018 by InyoPools Product Specialist Lennox H.

Hi, Elena. You have the Sta-Rite SwimQuip light fixture, we do carry the SwimQuip Lens Gasket - SQ5057-118 (Standard) and LPL-G-S (Heavy Duty).

What's the difference between the 2G, and 3G Color Splash LED Light?

A  Answered on 6/19/2014 by InyoPools Product Specialist Patrick P.

The 3g would be the new technology than the 2G and has a smoother looking light and is brighter, I personally like the 3g.

For a color-changing LED light, how do I switch between the different settings with just a standard light switch?

A  Answered on 1/20/2012 by InyoPools Product Specialist Patrick P.

The LED lights are designed to move to the next programmed setting each time you turn the switch on and off.  This will toggle through the different color settings and shows.

The G3 uses newer technology which gives you brighter light output than the G2, also the older technology on the G2 let's you see individual rays of light where the new technology on the G3 has a much smoother light output. You may view or purchase either light here  >

I have 2G lights in my pool and want to put a 3G light in my spa. Will the 2G and 3G versions synchronize with one another?

A  Answered on 2/2/2009 by InyoPools Product Specialist Patrick P.

According to the manufacturer, the 2G and 3G versions will not synchronize with one another.  To have the lights on the same color rotation, you would need to have the same version in both your pool and spa.
