Swimming Pool Pump

The Speck Model E90 medium head pump has been engineered for durability and quiet performance with economy in mind. This all-plastic, self-priming pump with large basket is ideally suited for all above-ground, on-ground, and small in-ground pools. The Model E90 is designed using 100% recyclable "environment friendly" plastics.

Features

  • This high performance, medium head pump comes complete with an industry standard 5/8" mechanical seal for convenient replacement.
  • Pump parts are made of 100% recyclable plastic. Non-corrosive, chemical/UV resistant, and can withstand temperatures of up to 150° F.
  • Suction and discharge ports are aluminum rings.
  • For pool users' safety, the impeller has a dielectric shaft sleeve that provides absolute separation between the pool water and electric parts.
  • Specially constructed clear lid with ring lock design is easy to open. Large strainer basket is always locked in place.
  • Pump is equipped with durable, economical 48 frame motor. Dual voltage motor has two compartments with sealed contacts, stainless steel shaft and Neptune ® Advanced Switch Technology.
  • Available in 115 V only for above-ground pools or 115/230 V for small in-ground pools.
  • Motor is easy to remove without disturbing the plumbing. Reusable o-rings throughout.
  • The Model E90 comes complete with a full 12 month warranty.

I am attempting to replace a E90-II pump that's about 11 years old. Are the physical dimensions of the E90-III the same so I don't have to re-plumb my water lines ?

The E90-II and the E90-III have the same wet end so the plumbing will match.

I have a 15 x 30 x 52 deep with a constant water height of about 46 inches. I have a speck 90 pump but I'm not sure the HP size since it is 11 years old and starting to break down. I believe it is a 3/4 hp. I have a Black Diamond 150 cartridge filter. Can you tell me what size pump I should purchase? I would like to stay with speck.

I would need to know what the distance is in feet from your pump to the main drain to be sure, but if I had to make an educated guess, you won't need anything bigger than a 1HP pump.

Can I use this as a replacement for my haywood super pump 1.5 hp. My HP states 2hp

Hi Dennis, This pump can be used to replace the Hayward Super Pump 1.5 HP performance wise, you will have to redo the plumbing. It will not replace the 2 hp model.

Is this the best pump to replace my existing speck E90-I pump and how long to deliver to Ling Island NY My pool is a 12’X24’X48” above ground with a hose run if 4’. Also, will i require any fitting or hose dimension changes
