*Caution: Do not add more than 20 oz. per 10,000 gallons of water at one time. If the pool needs more than this, add the 20 oz. then retest 4-6 hours later. After testing, you can make the necessary adjustments

Is high pH an automatic by-product of a salt water pool? I have trouble keeping the pH below 7.8. with my salt water pool.
How do I lower it, or do I need to lower it?

Hi, Richard. Yes, a high pH level is normal when using a salt water chlorine generator. You will need to lower the pH level using pH decreaser like this product, Dry Acid or Muriatic Acid.

Sodium bisulfate, also known as sodium hydrogen sulfate,[1] is the sodium salt of the bisulfate anion, with the molecular formula NaHSO4. Sodium bisulfate is an acid salt formed by partial neutralization of sulfuric acid by an equivalent of sodium base, typically either in the form of sodium hydroxide or sodium chloride. It is a dry granular product that can be safely shipped and stored.

Right to my door in a few days. The local pool company thinks that I'm to pay their bloated salaries for so so service...forget that!
