Is high pH an automatic by-product of a salt water pool? I have trouble keeping the pH below 7.8. with my salt water pool. How do I lower it, or do I need to lower it?

Hi, Richard. Yes, a high pH level is normal when using a salt water chlorine generator. You will need to lower the pH level using pH decreaser like this product, Dry Acid or Muriatic Acid.
