Is this an adequate replacement for 1HP Hayward Super Pump?

Both pumps are 1HP rated. The only issue will be that the BC2747 has 2" ports. The Hayward pump has 1.5" ports. You will need reducers to plumb in the BC2747.

I would say that this is a fair replacement pump to the Jacuzzi Magnum.

If you have used a model manufactured by Sta Rite then I would recommend staying with well known manufacturers versus generic models such as this.

Hello William, we would recommend replacing with the SMF 1.0 HP Max Rate Pool Pump - SMF-110.
