The ColorLogic network module is designed to be used with the new ColorLogic 4.0 lights and the ProLogic System. When used together the ColorLogic lights will display 101 color tones, 16 themed shows, while controlling light brightness, speed and movement. The 4.0 ColorLogic Lights can be seen here http://www.inyopools.com/lights_colorlogic.aspx. The ProLogic Systems & ColorLogic Modules can be seen here http://www.inyopools.com/sanitizers_pro_logic.aspx.

Do i just need the light and my current prologic controller which runs my pool filter and spa etc.. or do i have to have a separate controller for the colorlogic led pool light?

You can use just the ProLogic to control the ColorLogic light but you will only be using a fraction of the overall control capabilities. To get the complete control capabilities you would need to order the ColorLogic Gen. 4.0 light here http://www.inyopools.com/lights_colorlogic.aspx along with the ColorLogic Communication Module here http://www.inyopools.com/Products/02200000040136.htmWhen using the ColorLogic Communication Module with the ProLogic the ColorLogic lights will display 101 color tones, 16 themed shows, while controlling light brightness, speed and movement.

For a color-changing LED light, how do I switch between the different settings with just a standard light switch?
 Reply

The LED lights are designed to move to the next programmed setting each time you turn the switch on and off.  This will toggle through the different color settings and shows.

The accepted comparison is that the color shows are equivalent to 225 watts and the white mode is comparable to 300 watts.

Changing between the color shows is as simple as powering down the light (using a switch) and turning it back on within 10 seconds.

It says that this unit can be installed on the floor without a rock guard. Does this apply to commercial pools as well? Thanks!

Hi Simon, I would recommend calling Hayward Tech Support at 908.355.7995 to confirm about the floor installation. I looked through the ColorLogic LED Lighting Fixtures Manual and it did not say anything about floor installation.

Hi, In the brochure/manual, it indicates there are some light shows only available when integrated with a Hayward controller. however, it seems that the control is only on/off to control - so what does the Hayward controller do that can't be done manually with a light switch? Thanks for your help. Thanks, Mo

Hi, Mo. The ColorLogic Light Controller Brochure outlines all the features of the ColorLogic Light Controller - LKCUS1100.

Is this the exact same light as the sp0527sled100 except with a longer cable? If so, why is it more expensive than the one with the longer cable? Thanks.

Hi, Todd. Yes, the cable length is the only difference between the two models. As for the cost, supply and demand play a factor.
