Is this an easy swap for a Laars 250,000 BTU LT250-L? I do not want to have to make major changes to plumbing.

Hi TW, This heater will not match up exactly to the unit you have. The dimensions can be found on page 7 of the Jandy JXi Owner's Manual.

We have a Jandy Pro Series sand filter JS60-Sm will this heater be compatible?

Hi Jim, Heaters are sized based on the surface area of the pool or spa and the desired temperature increase. You can use this heater with a Jandy JS60-SM filter if it's sufficient for your application.

I have a Jandy 250,000 BTU - Model #LLD250. The pool surface is 16' x 38'. about 27,000 gallons. I know the new models are move efficient. Is this model too large? or OK

Hi, Lou. This unit can be used to replace the Laar LD250 unit. The only major installation aspect will be the plumbing.

Hi, Glenn. This Jandy JXI 260,000 BTU Heater is a good replacement for the LXI heater. However, you can also use any 250K BTU heater as a replacement.

Have 2 gas heater for in ground pool + spa. That are shot. Look for Jandy replacement? Pool is 36' x 18' Depth 4'to 10'. Not sure how many gallons. Spa is 5'x10'. Can I buy "one" unit to service both pool + spa and retrofit the gas line? Would love to find a unit on sale? We rarely have the heat turned up in Palm Desert, Calif. and when we do it's 75-85

Hi, Andrew. You can get one unit to heat both the pool and spa. A 350K BTU or higher heater will heat your pool and spa efficiently. You will have to make sure that your gas line is the correct size for a single unit or else you will have to change it.
