The sales brochure states that there is a 10 year warranty on compressor parts and labor and a lifetime warranty on the titanium heat exchanger. Since you guys are using the sales brochure on your sight, I am assuming that you honor this warranty?

Hello, The warranty is handled directly through the manufacturer. If you have a warranty issue, you will need to contact Pentair with the proof of purchase and proof of installation.

I haven't ordered this product yet. If I order from your company, will Pentair honor the warranty? Are you guys a Pentair distributor or do I have to purchase from Pentair directly to receive the warranty?

Hello Yes we are a Pentair distributor for all Pentair Products. Having it installed by a certified installer will no void the product. So you will have full manufactures warranty

I have a commercial pool 65000 gallons I need 2 of these units how many GPM and also im in the desert 112 degres how much cooler will it drop if they run 24/7

The minimum flow rate is 30 GPM, the maximum is 100 GPM. As far as cooling the water, it will do about 5-8 degrees in the hot climate that you live in. I use to live in Coachella Valley and that was about what my chiller would do.

I have a 21K gallon inground pool on Maryland's eastern shore. How do I know if I need a model 120 or 140 or any other model?

120k BTU's or 140 are suitable for your application, however, using a 140k BTU model will not work as hard and would heat the body of water quicker.

We currently have a two year old 460933, in commercial use in an RV park 40,000 gal. pool. However we are in the desert and experience water temps in the mid 90's in the summer. I'm guessing their is no economical way to add cooling to the 933. If there is please recommend the proper add on equipment. If not would the 935 be the right upgrade to provide cooling capability down to 82 to 84 degrees?

Hi Rick, There is no way to add on Heat Cool to your current unit. The best thing would be to purchase the 460935

good morning i have a question I have UltraTemp 120 H/C Heat Pump 127,000 BTU pool hater and notice on the bottom there is an opening that looks like a drain plug, my question is there is nothing attached to it should there be one ? thank you

A  Answered on 11/23/2020 by InyoPools Product Specialist Megan C.

The heat pump will produce condensation (water) while in operation. The heat pump base is designed to allow the condensation to exit through the bottom drain port when the unit is running. The condensation will increase as the outdoor air humidity level increases. See page 36 http://images.inyopools.com/cloud/documents/ultrafloom.pdf for more details of regular intervals to ensure proper condensate drainage:

I have a ULTRATEMP 120R H/C on a inground salt water pool with approximately 23,000 gallons, is will this heat pump heat my pool and on average how long should it take to raise the temperature of the water?
 Reply

A  Answered on 11/5/2020 by InyoPools Product Specialist Hector F.

Hi Robert, yes this Pentair Ultra Temp 127k BTU heat pump will be a good size unit to use on a 23k gallon swimming pool. There are a number of variables to consider when attempting to calculate the length of time needed to heat a swimming pool. Here is a guide that we put together called "How Long Does It Take to Heat a Pool?" that should help with that.

What are the dimensions on the Pentair UltraTemp120 Electric Heat Pump H-W-D, I do not see the A dimension on your website. Also we are considering a Pentair Master Temp 400K LP ASME Gas Heater in conjunction with the electric Heat Pump, please send dimensions on that unit also. Thanks

Does this unit have to be fed from a GFCI circuit breaker?

Main Power Electrical wiring to the heat pump must be in accordance with the latest edition of the National Electric Code (NEC), ANSI/National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70 in the United States, and in Canada, the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) C22.1, unless local code requirements indicate otherwise. All wiring must be done by a certified or qualified electrician.

Good afternoon, with Heat Pumps we always recommend oversizing. If you are looking for a Heat/Cool unit this would be your best option. If you are looking for just a heat unit we have other options. And would recommend you contact us via our chat support and we can help narrow your search.
