What is the difference between the Explorer and the DL2019 (NE250) Dolphin Diagnostic Advantage

The main difference between these units is the Dolphin Explorer has 3 programmable cleaning cycles. The controller on the Explorer has three buttons labeled 1, 2, and 3 by pressing 1 the cleaner will turn on 1 time per week, press 2 for 2 cleanings per week and press button 3 for 3 cleanings per week. The DL2019 (NE250) Dolphin Diagnostic Advantage requires that you manually turn the cleaner on and off at the controller.

Will the Dolphin caddy fit all of the Dolphin machines?

According to the manufacturer, the same caddy is used for all of the Dolphin cleaners purchased over the internet. The only exception might be some of the commercial models that come with their own caddy.

I need a part for my Dolphin pool cleaner but I don't see it on the parts breakdown. Is there still a chance you may still have it?

The manufacturer which is Maytronics, does not offer all parts for sale. If you don't see a part on the breakdown you can give us a call. For parts that they do not consider "DIY (do it yourself), you will need to contact them and send in the cleaner for repair.

I have an explorer and it runs for about five seconds and then stops, any clues on where to look and how to fix.

Check that the power supply cable is plugged properly into the power supply socket. Check power to the socket and reconnect Pool CleanerEnsure the power outlet is functioning properly and that it has not tripped the breaker in the fuse boxTurn the power supply off. Wait 30 seconds then turn it back onUnplug the power supply. Open the impeller cover and check that nothing is trapped in the impeller

How do you properly close the lid over the impeller. It keeps falling out. Will this hurt the vacuum? It seems to be working fine without the lid.

Hi. You can check out our How to replace a Dolphin Impeller Tube for installation instructions. It can cause debris to get into the unit damaging it.

We just replaced the tracks on sour cleaner. Since doing this the sweep seems to get stuck on the walls. goes up and down for a few minutes then stops. The motor is still running. it also seems to be floating just above the pool floor. the cord is very tangled but not able to get untangled. Wonder if we need to get a new cord. If that is even possible being such a old model. I am hoping you can help.
