Will this fit the Pentair R211084K canister. I am using the canister in a filter system.
If it doesn't fit that one, what filter cartridge will?

Hi Alan, This PL0119 cartridge will not fit the Pentair R211084K canister, you will need the 25 Sq.ft. Cartridge, w/ Plug (R172653).

This filter looks to be the correct size, but want to make sure it will replace my current filter. Numbers on the filter are P/N 178580/R173873.

Hi Linda, The Pentair 188592 is the Quad 60 DE Filter and which does not use the cartridges listed on this page. Your filter uses the Quad 60 Replacement Grids

Hi Jeff, The 178585 and R173578 are used on the Pentair Clean and Clear Plus 520 so you will need the PL0121 Clean & Clear Plus 520 Replacement Cartridge.

I clean my pool filters with a pressure washer at an 45 degree angle at low pressure. Works extremely well but a lot of white water comes out during the process . Is this the filter coming apart ? And or the white water is from debris . Looking for advice.

Hello Bob- Yes, that is the cartridge being damaged and coming apart. I wouldn't use a pressure washer even at low pressure.

I have a Pentair that requires 4 cartridge - 20" tall 7" dia and hole opening 3". the fliter unit is not marked so i do not have a unit number to identify what system i have. this is the first cartridge i found with same size - question if they do not fit can i return them? I will not get them wet - simply place inside to check.
Second question - i am looking for a cleaning hose to fit the intake hole - male end one and one half inch. female end can be pluged by 1 1/2 inch male

Yes you can return these within 30 days as long as they are in new and unused condition. I'm sorry we don't carry the hose that you described.
