Will this fit the Pentair R211084K canister. I am using the canister in a filter system. If it doesn't fit that one, what filter cartridge will? Thanks

Hi Alan, This PL0119 cartridge will not fit the Pentair R211084K canister, you will need the 25 Sq.ft. Cartridge, w/ Plug (R172653).

Filter pressure was rising

Written on 4/22/2020 by Guest

My filter housing has 4 PCC80 filters.

I turned off the power to the pump, verified with a meter that the circuit was disconnected. Relieved the pressure from from the filter housing.

The fitting at the top of the tank turns 1/4 turn to remove the pressure.

Removed the clamp down bolt on the side of the tank. I opened the top of the tank. cleaned the O'ring seal. Drained the remainder of the water from the tank by removing the bottom fitting.

Removed old filters and cleaned all residue from inside the talk. Installed 4 new filters, replaced top fitting which holds the filters in place. Lubricated the O'ring with a silicone-based grease.

Replaced top of filter housing and installed the clamp and tightened the bolt assembly. While tightening, tapped the clamp with a rubber mallet to ensure a good seal.

Filled the pump housing (primed) with water. Turned power back on and started pump. No leaks!!

The old filters were over 5 years old and were cleaned semiannually.

Low flow

Written on 4/17/2020 by Guest

Having cleaned my original filters over and over, I still was not getting adequate flow. Obviously they had become too dirty and had to be taken out of service. Ordered a new set of PCC80 filters from INYOPools and replaced the originals. Wow! can't believe how much flow improved and how sparkling clean my pool looks now!

Cartridges had not been changed in about 3 years.

Written on 8/1/2019 by Guest

Had restrictive flow into pool, had just cleaned about 3 weeks prior and had already needed cleaning again. Pool was clear. Took band off clean and clear plus 320 filter and removed old cartridges. Inserted new cartridges for Inyopools and wooked like a charm. Fit perfectly.

Debris floating in the pool

Written on 10/30/2018 by Guest

- First-time pool owner since 2015.
- Very diligent in cleaning the pool filters. The old filters looked good and looked to be in good condition.
- I began to notice a lot of debris floating in the pool. I knew it was more than prior years and therefore cleaned the filters multiple times over a couple week period.
- Within a day or two, the floating debris would return.
- My first thought was that the pool filter was too small for my pool. I verified with the manufacturer that the filter was more than adequate for my size pool.
- Unfortunately, his suggestion was to clean the filters not to replace them. After a few more weeks I received an email from Inyo Pools that had a 4 pack of filters at a decent price. I ordered the new filters and the problem was solved.
