I have a Hayward Micro CLear DE6000 and was looking for the clamp assembly. It appears that this part is now obsolete. Is there a replacement available that will fit this filter ?

Yes that is an obsolete clamp assembly. There is unfortunately no replacement.

I have a Haywood C1200 filter, and the brass nut the the steel rod bolts into at the base of the filter has stripped the threads and blew the top off when I turned the jacuzzi on.
Is this the bolt I need to replace it.

Hi, Jeff. The C1200 unit does not have a nut in the base of the unit. If the threads are stripped you will have to replace the entire base.

Greg, the Hayward Pool Products BRASS SLEEVE NUT 5/16" -24 (DEX2400JN) - Limited Qty, would not be the suggested replacement for your Hayward C5025. The BOLT & NUT (DEX2421J2) would be the correct bolt and nut for your Hayward C5025 filter.

The nut in the base of the Hayward C1200 filter case in stripped therefore we cannot screw the tie rod in at the bottom. Any suggestions? My husband said no repair possible. I know it's true but just reaching out for suggestions until we can purchase a new filter case.

You can try to use a hydraulic cement that you should be able to find at a local hardware store or 2 part epoxy putty to essentially glue the rod to the inside base of the filter where it threads to it but that may not work or maybe only be a temporary solution.

Thank you very much. I was thinking something like that may work but my husband didn't think so. We have had this for 13 plus years so we decided to suck it up and get a new one.

Hi Audrie, unfortunately, the clamp assembly for the Hayward Micro Clear model DE6000 has been discontinued with no replacement. You may be able to locate a used one or consider replacing the entire filter with possibly a Waterway Crystal Water D.E. filter model 570-0060-07.
