Hi, I need to replace the ring on a Nautilus FNS 48 filter installed in 2004. The documentation provided in 2004 mentions for this item: "19-5008 Seal-Trapezoid-18" DIA".
Do you think that your item O-Ring, Tank (O-420) dimension 19"x5/16" could fit with my filter ?

Hello- The dimensions we have are listed in two placed on this page. Under dimensions in the product description that states "DIMENSIONS 19" X 5/16" as well as in the picture that is labeled "size".

I have a Nautilus FNS 48. I am tryin g to replace the O-ring (trapezoid shaped) that goes between the top and bottom halves of the tank under the clamp. How do I get the O-ring to stay in place to put the tank together? This tank doesn't have a lip to keep it in place.....

Hi, Mike. The o-ring must be lubricated and aid of the tank retaining ring the o-ring will be held in place.

The trapezoid O ring we are looking for should be around 30" (not the 19" you recommend). We have a SEA-HORSE filter Model #FSH300

After double checking catalogs per the manufacturer, this is indeed listed as the correct o-ring for that model filter. You can always touch base directly with Pentair who is the new owner of at 1-800-831-7133 to triple check.

The DE filter is a Purex Triton Nautilus FNS 36. I do not see this filter being made any more, any ideas?

Hi, John. The Tank Body O-ring - Generic - P24218 you ordered is for a Pentair FNS Plus D.E. Filter. If you have the older Pentair Nautilus FNS D.E. Filter, you will need this Trapezoid Tank O-ring, Generic - O-420.
