Hi Perry, The Tri Star Union Connector (SPX3200UNKIT) can not be used on any Hayward Pump. It can be used on these Hayward Pumps: Hayward Tri Star, Hayward Northstar Pump, 2008 to Current, Hayward EcoStar, & Hayward Commercial Ecostar C.

The unions come as pictured as a two piece set with the o-rings. Please note that these are the connectors only and do not include the opposite threaded side that the connector is fitted to.

Will this union work on a Hayward (Leslies) RS1500 pump? It looks like the large size, style and shape o rings I need. The outside of my union is roughly 3.25"

These are the correct unions for the new generation Northstar pumps manufactured after 2008 and the part number 5112-007 is for the older generation prior to that.

Hi Mike, there is no male threaded fitting that threads to this union as this union was designed to thread to male threads that are part of pumps, filters, or heaters with those male threads molded as part of them.

No, the 5112-200 (SPX3200UNKIT) will not work with the Hayward Super II pump. You could use part number 21063-200-000.

Hello Dan. The Hayward Union Kit SPX3200UNKIT contains 2qty 2" Union Connectors. A Schedule 40 PVC Reducer 2" x 1.5" Slip will glue easily into the connector adapting it to your pool's 1.5" plumbing. The Union Kit is currently out of stock at INYO Pools. The Schedule 40 PVC reducer is available at most neighborhood home improvement centers. Schedule 40 PVC is rated for pool circulation applications.
