Hi Scott, The EasyTouch 4 Remote - 520691 can be used to replace model number 520690 if the current firmware is 2.090 or higher. If it's not you will have to replace the transceiver which then you will need to purchase model number 520546.

Hi Daniel, There is not a replacement LCD screen for the EasyTouch remotes. You will have to replace the entire remote.

I have an Easytouch 520690 with firmware 1050. The remote control is no longer working. Can it be replaced or upgraded to a more current unit which is still compatible with my pool system?

Hi, Linda. Check the main controller to see if it also says Service. If it does then try pressing the Mode button to place the system in Pool or Spa Mode.

I have Pentair Easy Touch. Inside it says Part number 520546 and date 5/9/2012 and says "Site W", but then has another sticker that says 520690 ver 2100 and dated May 9 2012.
Remote is dead. I got the remote and the transceiver installed new. What do I replace this with? PS: I looked at the new wireless Android/iOS system but it requires handline Cat5 to a router and the system is too remote from even my remote routers to get that accomplished.
Mfg specs show the 520691 ( 58-110-1100 ) as the correct replacement for a 4 auxiliary set up.

I have a Pentair Easy Touch Control Remote, Model 520546-520547 that stopped communicating with the Pentair Controller (It fell into the pool). Is your Model 520691 a compatible replacement? It looks like the same unit.
