The manufacturer which is Maytronics, does not offer all parts for sale. If you don't see a part on the breakdown you can give us a call. For parts that they do not consider "DIY (do it yourself), you will need to contact them and send in the cleaner for repair.

We have a dolphin dx3 pool vaccum and the power supply unit needs to be replaced. Our current power supply unit is a diagnostic DC # 9995672, is this unit compatible with the vaccum we currently have?

If they say the motor isn't working. Do they mean the power nbox or does the main cleaner have a motor.

Hi Shanda, The cleaner does have a motor inside that is powered by the power supply. So that is the motor that isn't working.

You will need to replace the power supply if it is not functioning. You may also try contacting Maytronics at 1-888-365-7446 to see if they have a authorized repair shop in your area. They would be able to answer you if the power supply is repairable.

My power supply switch lights up but the daily mode buttons do no and the pool cleaner does not run. An animal knocked the unit two feet off the stand to the ground but no signs of cracks

Hi Chuck, that is a sign that your power supply needs to be replaced. You may want to double check that all of the cords are securely pluged into the power supply and they did not come loose.

Yes i see that there are either 29 volts ac or 24 volts DC POWER SUPPLYS How do i figure out if my unir runs on DC OR AC POWER.

Using Multimeter - take your digital multimeter and set it in the DC mode and connect both the terminals of the multimeter with the output wire. If your output is DC then it will show you some output whether positive or negative. But if your output is AC then you will not get any output in the multimeter. So next step is to switch your multimeter into the AC mode. (this step is required only if there is no output in DC mode of multimeter). Now connect your multimeter with the output and surely you will get an output in the display if your output is AC.
