Good Afternoon, Can I use this on my above ground pool?

Hi Alison, The 48" Oasis Arch Fall Waterfall with 6" lip can be used on an above ground pool, however you will have to build the structure to put the waterfall into, and set it up so that it is tied into the pool circulation using a separate pump just for the fountain.

Great, but why a separate pump, it cannot be plumbed into the same pump with a splitter and an "on-off" valve? I have done this before with a fountain on my above ground pool.

Hi Allison, You don't have to use a separate pump for the 48" Oasis Arch Fall Waterfall with 6" lip if you have the ability to tie it into so that it use your existing pump and provide the proper amount of flow needed to operate the waterfall.

What pump, flow rate is required for this unit?

Hi, The 48" Oasis Arch Fall Waterfall with 6" lip requires a pump that can provide 40 GPM flow rate. The Hayward TriStar 75GPM Waterfall Pump, Energy Efficient would work but you will need to install a Ball or Diverter valve to reduce the water flow if the flow is too much.
