Product Description

GORILLA FLOOR PADDING

SUPER STRONG FLOOR PAD PROTECTS LINERS FROM ROCKS & ROOTS

New Gorilla Pad makes old foam floor padding obsolete. Unlike foam, which can be easily cut by roots or rocks under your liner, Gorilla Padding is impervious to almost any sharp object. Gorilla Padding is a geotextile that was developed to protect trash dump liners where any cut would be a catastrophe. Gorilla Padding is super tough, but also adds a layer of cushioning that will eliminate footprints from forming. Gorilla Pad is cut to size and seamed for your pool. No more cutting and taping as with foam. Virtually eliminate vinyl liner bottom leaks with Gorilla Pad.

Note: Gorilla Padding will not stop grass, we suggest Perfect Pool Bottom to stop grass

If my current liner has Perfect Bottom installed under it do I need to replace perfect bottom when I replace the liner or can I just replace the liner.?

Good day, after the liner is taken out. We suggest you inspect the perfect bottom make sure it is in good condition with no undergrowth that could potentially cause damage to the liner.

Does the Gorilla pad go on top of the pool cove?

A     Answered on 1/20/2012 by InyoPools Product Specialist Patrick P.

The Gorilla pad would be put down first and the pool cove would go on top of the Gorilla pad.

I am wondering if you need to put sand under the Gorilla floor padding? Or can this be just set on the level ground?

A     Answered on 6/2/2006 by InyoPools Product Specialist Patrick P.

You can set up the Gorilla floor pad either way.  Some of our customers will put a layer of sand down and then the Gorilla floor pad.  However the manufacturer states that you do not have to put sand down first.
