GORILLA FLOOR PADDING
SUPER STRONG FLOOR PAD PROTECTS LINERS FROM ROCKS & ROOTS
New Gorilla Pad makes old foam floor padding obsolete. Unlike foam, which can be easily cut by roots or rocks under your liner, Gorilla Padding is impervious to almost any sharp object. Gorilla Padding is a geotextile that was developed to protect trash dump liners where any cut would be a catastrophe. Gorilla Padding is super tough, but also adds a layer of cushioning that will eliminate footprints from forming. Gorilla Pad is cut to size and seamed for your pool. No more cutting and taping as with foam. Virtually eliminate vinyl liner bottom leaks with Gorilla Pad.
Note: Gorilla Padding will not stop grass, we suggest Perfect Pool Bottom to stop grass

we have a 16x24 above ground oval - what size gorilla pad would I buy as do not see this size. does that mean I would have cutting to do?
Denny, I would recommend the 16X24 Gorilla Padding NL144
If the Gorilla Floor Padding is put down, do we still need pool cove to put around the bottom of the above ground pool?
You do not have to use pool cove with the Gorilla Floor Padding, but it is strongly recommended. The cove works to prolong the life of the liner, by reducing the tension placed on it, as it seats at the angle made by the pool floor and pool wall.
Can the Gorilla Floor Padding be cut to our size above ground pool? We have a 15'x27' oval above ground pool and the closest size is 15'x30'.
Yes, you can cut the Gorilla Floor Padding to size of your above ground pool.
Does the Gorilla pad go on top of the pool cove?
The Gorilla pad would be put down first and the pool cove would go on top of the Gorilla pad.
How thick is the Gorilla pad?
The Gorilla pad is about an 1/8" thick. It is similar to a piece of felt material.
I am wondering if you need to put sand under the Gorilla floor padding? Or can this be just set on the level ground?
You can set up the Gorilla floor pad either way. Some of our customers will put a layer of sand down and then the Gorilla floor pad. However the manufacturer states that you do not have to put sand down first.
(5 out of 5 stars) gorilla pad is the best

Pros: Pre-cut and extremely tough
This product is the best artificial bottom for above grounds. I have installed many pools and I have been using gorilla pad for a few years now. The fact that it comes pre-cut and pre-seamed makes it easy to work with. I have yet to have a liner fail since using this product. I have got to the point where I don't even use sand under the pool liner anymore....although I only suggest a professional installer go that route.

I use gorilla pad on all of my installations. I have used other types of pool bottoms but gorilla pad is by far the best. I don't even use sand anymore. This product is great.
(5 out of 5 stars) Great Liner Protection

Pros: Perfect sizing, well cushioned, good liner protection.
I have a 15 x 30 oval pool and their are trees near the pool. I find sometimes we get tree vines under the liner which can ruin the liner. This padding is great, it makes the floor feel cushioned and protects the liner from tears on the floor. Great product and easy to install.
