I have a polaris 360 and the hose has several holes in it and I would like to know if your product is compatible. Thank you

Hi Judy, The Deluxe In-Ground Vac Hose 1 1/2 inch / 25 foot will not work with the Polaris 360. The correct hose that is needed will be the Polaris 6' Cuffless Hose (9-100-3102).

My 1-1/2" vaccum hose is about 10 feet short to to reach the other end of my pool.. Can this size hose be purchased by the foot or Is there a smaller hose less than 25" length available and a coupling to connect the two together?

Hi Wendell, These hose are not sold by feet and 25' is the shortest length of hose we carry. You will have use the Hose Connector (AXV092) to connect the two section of hose.

I have a fairly small pool and only need a 15' hose. Can this hose be cut down to size?

Hi, Daniel. This hose can be cut to a shorter length, you will also need to repair the cut end with the Hose Cuff - 1-1/2" - 211

Is the cuff soft/pliable enough to securely slide over and engage the connector at the skimmer and at the vacuum end as well. I am asking because I recently purchased a hose and the cuffs are made of an inflexible plastic- that doesn't slide over the connectors at either end.

Hello.  They should be flexible enough.   Have you tried warming your current hose cuffs in the sun to make them more pliable?  This can be an effective means to soften hard plastic and may allow them to slide more easily over the vacuum and skimmer connections.  Once completed you may not have to repeat this procedure.

Needed a Shorter Hose

Written on 12/21/2018 by Guest

Ordered this one, cut it to size and installed the extra hose cuff. It works great... but, the 1-1/2" is apparently the I.D. and this is not stated anywhere in the online info, so it did not fit my 1-1/2" suction fitting in the pool. Fortunately, a short piece of PVC sink drain made the perfect adapter and I was back in business.
