Product Description

The Aqua Logic is designed with your ease and comfort in mind. Now you can have full control of all the functions of your pool and have all the benefits of an AquaRite chlorine generator at the touch of a button. With the new Aqua Logic you can control your filtering times, pool lights, heater and two additional outputs. The possibilities are as varied as your pool requires. The best part is you can do all these things from inside your house. Now you can heat up your spa and turn on the jets before you even step outside.

P4 System Includes - 4 relays, 3 valve outputs, no actuators, 8 position breaker panel, local remote from power supply, chlorine generator, no indoor control (indoor control must be purchased separately) and 2 temp sensors.

Indoor Control Panel, Spa Side Remote and Base Reciever are purchased separately.

The Aqua Logic System has 3 different control options available.

1. Wall Mounted Wired Remote - The wired remote requires 4 conductor wire to be run from the equipment pad to the location in the house where the Wall Mounted Wired Remote will be hooked to the wall. You can Add Up to 3 Wired Remotes to your Aqua Logic system. If you are adding the Aqua Logic to an existing pool, the wireless remote may be a better option.

2. Wall Mounted Wireless Remote - Aqua Logic wireless remotes require a Wireless Base Receiver. Only 1 Base Receiver is needed to operate any combination of 4 wireless remotes. The Wall Mounted Wireless Remote does not require any connections from the remote to the equipment set. This makes the wireless option ideal for retrofit applications. Unlike table top wireless remotes that can be moved around the house, this unit is mounted to the wall and plugged into a power outlet nearby.

3. Wireless Spa Side Remote - A Base Receiver is required when using the wireless Spa Side Remote. Only 1 Base Receiver is needed to operate any combination of 4 wireless remotes. Control up to 6 functions in the comfort of your spa with the Wireless Spaside Remote.

I have a AQL-P-4. The pool temp readout is 4 degrees higher than 2 thermometers floating in the pool. The sensor has been replaced with the same result. Can the board be calibrated for this? Is the board defective? Is this typical for this device?

A     Answered on 5/1/2017 by InyoPools Product Specialist Lennox H.

Hi, Gary. The circuit board can not be recalibrated for the temperature.

We are trying to get out of service mode with our Goldline Controls remote. The system is locked and we don't know how to unlock it. What can we do?

A     Answered on 2/8/2016 by InyoPools Product Specialist Lennox H.

Hi, You can find the instructions in the Aqualogic P4 Operation Manual to "UNLOCK" and exit "SERVICE MODE." You will have to complete both tasks via the controller not by remote.

What parts are included with this model? is the T-Cell-15 turbo cell included? Thanks.

A     Answered on 1/19/2016 by InyoPools Product Specialist Lennox H.

Hi Matias, The P4 System is no longer available as a package. You will have to purchase the Pro Logic Base System Controller (PL-P-4) and the Turbo Cell (T-Cell-15).

I have a Hayward AQL2-TB-RF-PS-4 table top remote and the yellow light continues to stay on. Check system water sensor open is on the display. What can I do to fix this?

A     Answered on 1/22/2013 by InyoPools Product Specialist Patrick P.

Hi, Is the display stating that the circuit is open? If so, check the wiring to the sensor and also make sure that the wires are secure in the terminal block in the Aqua Logic main unit. If the wiring is fine then the sensor may need to be replaced.

Is the salt included with the salt chlorine generator?

A     Answered on 2/29/2012 by InyoPools Product Specialist Patrick P.

No, salt is not included.  You would purchase the salt locally and the quantity will depend upon the number of gallons of water in your pool.  Use a salt that is at least 99.8% pure NaCl. The preferred salt is evaporated, granulated, food quality, and NON-iodized.  Avoid using salt with anti-caking agents like sodium ferrocyanide, also known as yellow YPS (prussiate of soda). These cause some discoloration of fittings and pool surface finishes. DO NOT use calcium chloride.
