Does this come with new O-Rings?
Hi, Terry. The Union O-ring - SX220Z3 is not included with the cell.
hello, I am adding an SWG to my pool this year. I currently do not have one, what else would be needed to add this to the pool. I have a Hayward control box which will support a chlorine generator.
Hi, Chris. You will need a turbo cell and the Plumbing Kit - PKIT.
Had my t-cell 15 tested & it showed ok. When pump starts, salt reading is approx. 2800, but drops to about 1600 or less after run cycle done. By next day, reading is about 900. Voltage reading varies daily from 3.7-4.2 Cell is approx. 4 years old. Even though cell tested ok, does this mean it is near end of life??
Hi, Gary. The correct operating voltage should range between 22.0 – 26.0 VDC and the amp range between 3.1 – 8.0 when using a T-CELL-15. The issue could be the cell or the PC Board.
Are these units new or refurbished. What is the difference between the T15 and the GLXCE15
These units are new. The T15 cell and the CLXCELL15 are the same cell, the model name is T15 and the part # is GLXCELL15
My system is currently using a T3 cell which I believe is too small. My pool is closer to 20K gallons and in SW Florida. I would like to upgrade to a T15 cell. My question is are the cells the same length and width? I have very limited space.
Harold, What salt system do you have? The system will need to be able to see the larger cell type.
I am currently in the UK and trying to find a T15 salt cell for my Hayward Aquarite Chlorinator. I need the replacement for my swimming pool in Tobago, Caribbean. Can you give me a price in GBP and do you deliver to Tobago?
Email me a postal code and I can email you a quote with the shipping charge to Tobago.
I replaced my tcell 15 last month. I'm getting a message that says - Chlorinator Off No flow - Is my flow switch the problem? Can my circuit board be malfuntioning?
Hello Jack, any light that says "no flow" is related to your flow switch needing to be replaced.
Hi, I have a 10 year old t15 cell with A 10000-12000 gallon pool that has stopped working. What new cell can I replace it with?
Hi. Since the T15 cell lasted that long I would recommend that you replace it with another T15 cell.
I need to replace my T5 salt cell. Can I just upgrade to the T15 cell ? Pool is around 20,000 gallons and I think the T5 is having a hard time keeping up, The panel is a PLPlus20G. Thanks
Yes, if you have a 20,000 gallon pool I would recommend the T15 because the cell will not have to work as hard making it last longer.
My pool is 12,000 gallons. I have a T 15 salt cell. I think I need to replace it. Can I use a T-3 instead since the cost is so much lower?
Hi, James. You can replace the T-Cell 15 with the T-Cell 3 if your controller has a software revision of 1.50 or higher. Also, it is price lower but it will not last as long as the T-Cell 15 on your pool. The lower percentage that the cell run on the longer the cell will last.
I have a T-Cell-15, My pool control panel says "Pool Chlorinator 30%" "Chlorinator Off - High Salt Amps" Screen Says "Main Software Revision 2.85" "Display Software Revision 3.11" What do you suggest so that I can get my pool back to salt. Aqua Plus Control Panel.......last year it was saying "no cell power" but doesn't anymore.
Hi, Kevin. That error message indicates that the salt level in your pool is higher than normal. You would need to test your salt level to determine the actual salt level of your pool. If the salt level is higher than 3400 ppm you will need to dilute the pool by adding fresh water.
My T Cell 15 in giving me a readying of high temperature, inspect cell, no flow rate and not producing any clorine. Is there anything I can do other than replacing the cell?
Hello Rey, You can call Hayward 800-657-2287 to talk to tech support to see if they could recalibrate anything on the salt system and determine whether you just need to adjust your system or if you need to replace the cell.
I am getting a no flow sign does that mean i need to replace the T-Cell 15?
Hello Lisa, you would want to get a AquaRite Flow Switch W/ 2" & 15' Cable (GLX-FLO) you can look at this here http://www.inyopools.com/Products/07501352049135.htm
is the tcell 50 software with older controllers say 10 years ago? I have heard that there may be controller incompatiblitieies. My systemj is reading temperature etc but is NOT producing chlorine and the number is 1000 and decreasing every day cost of the new unit from you all is? and availablity is? thank you John Hardiman consider this as an urgent emeila
Hi John, The TCELL15 cell is compatible with older controllers that are 10 years old.
I replaced my board with your replacement 2 weeks ago and all seemed fine - now stating check cell and no flow - I have a TCell 15 and see that it says for 40,000G pools - mine is only 22,500G. Is this overkill? Do I need to replace with the same model/style or ....?
Hi Kevin, If you need to replace the cell then you will have to replace it with the same size.
I have a tcell 15 unit. I live in Thailand. The replacement costs is extremely high. I will be in the USA for the month of JULY. Will a USA bought unit work in a country where we have 220 voltage?
Mark, The voltage is set on the board. The GLXCELL15 work with 230v and 115v. Please note that this product will not have any warranty outside of the United States.
I just replaced my GLX PCB RITE board ,now it is reading checksalt, know there is plenty of salt in the pool, also says check cell ,took it out washed it ,put it back ,still the same ,cell is very old, how can I be sure cell needs to be replaced? I don't want to keep wasting money....... thanks Glenn
I'd recommend taking it to a pool store that tests salt cells so you can be sure if it's still good.
I have all Hayward equip T15 CELL IS VERY CLEAN GET STRANGE DISPLAYS ie. MORE LIKE metric no salt how to reset ? THANKS
Hi Armand, Instructions to switch display from Metric to English can be found on page 7 of the Goldline Aquarite Owners Manual under "Salt Display."
Is this generator compatible with a Mineral Springs MS-10 controller?
Hello Gary, This replacement cell is only compatible with the Hayward Salt System.
Which way does the water suppose to flow through the generator?
The water can flow in either direction through the salt cell.
I clean my cell from my pool and I get an answer from the system that I need to check the cell, what to do, please note this will be the third summer with this cell. Thank you.
Johanne, You'll need to remove the cell and inspect the cell for scaling. Here's a video on How To Clean a Hayward AquaRite Turbo Cell.
I have a Hayward Gold Line Salt System witha GLX15 cell and now the control box ys telling me that there is no power to the cell.-How should I do to check what is wrong?
Elias, Remove the cover and replace the fuse, if your still having the same problem contact Hayward Tech Support at (908) 355-7995.
Will this work with an Aqua Logic system or only the Aqua Rite system? Is there a difference between t cell 15 and 15w?
The GLXCELL15 will work with the AquaRite, AquaLogic and ProLogic systems. Depending on the age of your system, you may want to double check yoru software revision. The difference between the 2 cell is that the GLXCELL15 has a 3 year warranty and the GLXCELL15W has only a 1 year warranty.
How do I clean the TCELL15?
To clean the TCELL15 you will need to first use a water hose to try and hose off the scale build up. Then use a water to muriatic acid mixture of 4 to 1 to clean the plates. Always add the acid to the water. Let stand for approximately 15 minutes. You can then rinse and reinstall.
Do I need to use teflon tape when installing the T-Cell?
No, we do recommend applying a thin coat of lubricant to the union o-rings before threading the unions onto the new cell.
Does the Hayward GLXCELL15 (T-CELL-15) come with a flow switch?
Is the Hayward GLXCELL15 (T-CELL-15) the replacement cell for the 40K unit?
Yes, the GLXCELL15 is the correct cell for pools up to 40,000 gallons.
I have an AquaRite that uses the t-cell-15. The system is 5/6 years old. Do I need a soft ware update?
No you would not need a software update, the GLXCELL15 would work fine with your system here >http://www.inyopools.com/Products/02100023001296.htm The GLXCELL15 comes without the flow switch which you would not require. The only time you would need a software upgrade is if you went with one of the smaller cells which just came out in 2009 if for example you tried to install a TCELL3 your software would not recognize this cell but the GLXCELL15 (TCELL15) is recognized by all versions of the software.
I have a GLXCELL15W will this replace my current cell?
Yes the GLXCELL15 is a direct replacement for the GLXCELL15W
I currently have a T-CELL-15 cell, will this replace my current cell.
Yes the GLXCELL15 is the direct replacement for the T-CELL-15
How often does the turbo cell have to be replaced?
We have found the lifetime expectancy of the turbo cell is 3-5 years.

(5 out of 5 stars) Is it time to replace your cell
Reviewed By: Tony G. from Marietta, GA ()
The product works great, and I am a big fan of INYO pools. I should have Factored into account the age of previous cell first before deciding to replace the PBC first, turns out the cell was bad. i then had to order the cell, which came in quick (thank you INYO) it's alot easier to replace the cell if it approaching an age limit, before it goes bad.
