Power-Flo Matrix Above-Ground Pump With Perflex DE Filter
The Big news in above-ground pumps is the PowerFlo Matrix by Hayward. It features an industrial-size strainer basket to collect a lot of debris without a lot of maintenance. The Power-Flo Matrix has been engineered as a uniquely superior above-ground pool pump. With a single push of a button, this truly versatile pump changes from a vertical to a horizontal discharge and back again. Its large profile and integrated styling makes the Power-Flo Matrix a swimming pool pump like no other.
Perflex filters are performance matched with the Power-Flo Matrix pump series to ensure a system that maximizes its filtration ability. These advanced filtration systems are designed to operate with less resistance than conventional units, thus producing more filtered water with less pump horsepower. Quality, value, dependability and sparkling clear pool water are the Perflex system trademarks.

I have perflex series extended cycle filtration system. The motor is an SP1592. The motor drops speed and I have watched it for over an hr. to "cycle" ?
Hi. The SP1592 Pump is a single speed pump so it does not have the ability to reduced speeds. If you're experiencing a reduction it could be one of the culprits listed in our How Do I Correct Low Water Pressure? blog.
How do you regenerate Hayward EC40C90 DE Filter?
Do you mean how to recharge the filter with DE powder, or how to replace the parts on the filter?
The manual says that a diverter valve can be installed for vacuuming to waste during heavy spring clean up or pulling rain water out of the pool. Where would it be installed? Do you sell this valve?
Yes we do carry this diverter valve which you may view or purchase through this link http://www.inyopools.com/Products/07501352023400.htm This valve has 3 ports on it, the valve would screw into the disharge side of your pump and you can have the handle turned so the return water goes through your filter or you can turn the valve in the opposite direction so the dirty water goes to waste and bypasses your filter, this is very helpful when vacuuming or for heavy spring clean up.
