Product Description

Unlike metallic niches, DuraNiche niches are injection-molded of PVC for superior performance, non-corrosive durability and plumbing versatility - plus the lowest installed cost. When paired with a Hayward AstroLite or AstroLite ll light fixture, you have the best quality and value in a lighting system available anywhere.

My pool light keeps coming out and ends up floating in the water, still connected be the wires. Is this an indication that I might need new housing for my light, new light, or are there connectors that might help?

Hi, Wendy. The Pilot Screw may be stripped which can be replaced or the niche mounting tab is broken. A Light Wedge - 132 can be used if the niche mounting tab is the issue.

Hi, I would like to buy this niche to house an underwater speaker. Can you please recommend a face ring, mounting gasket & wire clamp assembly that will fit this niche.

Hi, Jaxson. In order to get you the correct items, we will need to know the model of the speaker that you're installing.

I have a hayward ligth and I'm looking for something cheaper to replace it. What did you recommend

Hi, You do not have many options, what kind of light are you looking for (LED or Incandescent)? You can use the Pure Colors LED Pool Light Fixture 12V 30' Cord - PL5820 or PL5823.

What is the difference between a niche and a light?

A     Answered on 10/8/2013 by InyoPools Product Specialist Patrick P.

A niche is a housing that is permanently mounted in the pool wall, while the light is a “fixture” that is secured into the niche.
