I need parts for my filter valve. When I look at the filter parts breakdown, it gives me different choices. How do I know which one is the one I need?

In order to locate the correct parts we will need to know the model number of the filter valve. Two identical filters can have two different valves. Typically the valve model will be located on the label of the valve. If there is no model number on the valve, you can try to see if there are any part numbers on the valve itself. can this valve be used on a DE filter?

Hi, Richard. This valve is not compatible with Hayward DE Filters. You will need the Vari-Flo Valve 2" for DE - SP0715XR50.

Just to confirm, will this side mount valve set up fit into my openings on my Hayward S240S Sand Filter??? I have seen NO measurements of how far apart the connections are... Thank You.

Hello Ron. The 2 In. Vari Flo Valve Side Mount - SP0715X32 is the correct 2" side mount Multiport Valve for the Hayward Sand Filter Model S-240S as identified on the attached Hayward S-200/ S-240 Sand Filter exploded parts diagram.
