Do I understand it corretly - that this item is NOT the SYSTEM, but it is a feed pump which keeps pumping until accid runs out and actually is dump device. It does not measure the pH and does not adjust how much acid it pumps out. Does it?
For this to work a a system one needs to spend anothr $600 on the smart part?

Hi, That's correct, this is the tank and the pump which is to be used with the AQL-CHEM SYSTEM.

Is it compatible with Aqua Rite Pro?
We have a solar pool pump. On sunrise and dawn the power of the flow is very little.
Are the results of measuring still correct, does it matter, if water flow ist very little on sunrise and dawn?
Second; I would need it with 220V -Power suppy. - Avaliable?

Hi Guido, This Feed System is compatible with Aqua Rite Pro with Sense & Dispense. This unit is only available in 120 volts.

Does the acid chem dispenser have to be hooked up to a controller?

Michael, yes, the Hayward pH Acid Dispense Feed System AQL-CHEM4-ACID - AQLCHEM3120 would need to be connected to Hayward's AquaRite Pro, ProLogic, OmniLogic or Commercial CAT Controllers.

Pros: Easy to install, good instructions & support
Cons: To connect to ProLogic you need 120V pigtail from Sense & Dispense.
The AQL-CHEM3 was the last piece in my total pool automation system. Its plug and play with the ProLogic controller and Sense & Dispense. Easy to set up, very robust system, designed for commercial applications and the parts are higher quality than the average residential system. Comes with all required attachments and extra parts. Installation was fast and easy.INYOPOOLS price is best online.

Pros: e z to install and use
Cons: pouring the acid into the tank, needs plenty of ventilation
works flawlessly, combined with the sense and dispense sytem i never touched a chemical the entire summer and my water chemistry was perfect
