Hi Carmen, This is probably the largest above ground pool systems on the market and can handle an above ground pool up to 21' x 43' oval or up to 36' round.

Does this system include a unionized gate valve to isolate the system for maintenance? If not, how do you stop the water flow to change the cartridge or clean out the leaf filter? And how long would shipping take to zip code 15522 if I ordered this morning? Thanks, Harry

What size Union coupling does this have? Also, can I attach a valve on the drain to vacuum to waste?

The union between the pump and the filter is a 2" union. For the port going into the pump this does not have a union and has a 1-1/2" hose adapter fitting. Yes you could use a valve on the drain to vacuum to waste. You may also consider this Hayward Valve which goes between the pump discharge port and the filter.
