Would this be a good solution for a 4000 gal in-ground pool? Is there a smaller one that would work?

Hi Gloria, 50,000 BTU is the smallest heat pump we carry and would be the size we suggest for a 4,000 gallon pool. We recommend the Hayward 50,000 BTU Heat Pump as this is the unit we have had the best success with.

Hello, My pool supplier installed this in my newly installed 8,000 gal fiberglass pool in 2015. Will this be ok for 8,000 gal? Also, since the unit's been installed, I can't turn the unit on or off with the by hitting the power button. Is there a trick to this? Thanks.

Hi, Joel. This unit is adequate for an 8K gallon pool. There is no trick, if the unit is on then the unit will turn on when water flow is registered.
