Impeller 1.0 THP - SPX2607C
Impeller for 3/4 HP full rate and 1 HP up rate pumps. Used on several Hayward pumps including the Max-Flo, Super Pump, Power Flo II and Power Flo III as well as Leslie's Hydramax pump.
I have a Hayward 1 hp motor for my pump system. The impeller broke.
I can not find a replacement for the part # sp1605 c. Where do I go from here?
The SPX1605C is obsolete. You need to replace the drive train with part number SPX2605CKIT
You will need to do a drive train upgrade kit since your pump is prior to 1983, use SPX2607CKIT ( 35-150-2050 ) see images we added
.does the impeller have a white sleeve or plastic washer that goes
On the end of where the diffuser goes, my motor burnt up and I think there was 1 there
But melted off but none of the pool stores ever heard of it I ordered a spx3005r washer and it does not fit it is too small
You may need that impeller ring however, it is based on the model of the front pump housing that the motor actually attaches to, and also the motor model or part number as well. If you cannot locate that information then you can always email us some pictures to email@example.com so we can confirm for you.
I just installed a new motor on my Haward Superpump (UST1102 - bought from Inyo). After running a few hours, it shut off. It's not power, because when i checked it, the motor was warm. My impeller was pretty worn, I wonder if that's the issue. Also, I noticed it doesn't have the same power or moving the same amount of water my old motor used to. Very odd. Thoughts?
Hi, Michael. A worn impeller can cause motor issues such as casing a motor to overheat. Air in the system or not assembling the pump correct can cause the same issue.
Hello, I am repairing a old super pump. The impeller broke.
The part number from the impeller is
It is a 1 HP super pump.
Can I just replace it with the spx2607?
Hello, my old Hayward pool pump is missing all of its labels and I don't know the model and hp in order to order/price a replacement motor. Strainer Lid # SP-1600-D and the impeller # SP2607-C. Please advise.
What impellar (part numer) to use for motor 1 HP Square Flange Motor (C1245, B2853)
In order to cross reference the correct impeller part number that you will need, we will need to know the model of the front pump housing that the motor bolts to. Please call in with that information or you can provide an image of that through our support request page.
what seal do i need with the SP2607-c?
Hello, from what this part number is from the SP2607 goes to a Hayward Super Pump which has a GOKIT3 OR GOKIT3SALT these come with the pump seal, housing gasket, lid oring, and diffuser oring.
My older Hayward pump needs a new impeller...the part number is in the SP-1600 series......what new number impeller would be a replacement for my unit the number on the motor looks like 1607 Z1.....thanks for your help
Hello mike, yes the Impeller, Sp2607-c (spx2607c) will be the correct part
What is the difference in a SP2607-c impeller, and SPX2607-c impeller? And, can either be used as a replacement for the other?
Jeff - A SP2607-c impeller, and SPX2607-c impeller are the same. An "X" is sometimes added to the part number to show that it is a part and opposed to a whole product.

I took my motor off and took it apart. I watched several of the Inyo How To Videos on how to replace Seal, Diffuser, Washer, and impeller. The Video's made the installation quite easy.

Pros: Good original equipment.
I upgraded my motor to 1 hp and wanted to match the impeller. My Hayward Superpump originally had a 3/4 hp motor and impeller. Quality and fit was A+.
(5 out of 5 stars) Simple impeller installation

Pros: Parts diagram easy to follow
Cons: Minor difference on video to my pump
Had impeller on main pool pump seize and locked up pump. Found the replacement impeller easily on inyo pools parts diagram. Used a you tube video to review how to install new impeller. Really straightforward and took about 1 hr to get pump back in use. Has run for week so far without problems. I had one question about a diffuser seal from the video (video showed one but the pump I was re.pairing did not) quick help email to Inyo pools was quickly returned and clarified). Pleased with parts, cost and service.
