I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MY INGROUND SKIMMER BOX, SOMEONE PUT MY SKIM VAC UPSIDE DOWN AND IT HAS GOTTEN LOGGED IN THE SKIMMER HILE, HOW CAN I GE THIS OUT SO IT WILL NOT MESS UP THE SKIMMER LINE AND WOULD THIS CAUSE THE PRESSURE IN MY WALL JETS TO SLOW

Hello Keith, Depending on how it is stuck into the skimmer under the tile, turn off your pump and try reaching through where the weir entrance is and the other hand on the top of the skimmer and try getting a section of the Vac plate lip. Or you could back wash some of your water down below the skimmer to see if the pressure would release. Is your basket still in the skimmer?

Pros: Very durable plastic with a rubber seal.
Cons: none
This item is exactly as shown and works great. It is an exact replacement for the skimmer plate. Even though it has the number SP 1106 on the package, it is really number SP 1106A.It is made of a strong plastic and fits perfectly on the skimmer for a strong vacuum seal.

I replaced my worn skim vac. Make sure you match your skimmer model number to the correct skim vac. I didn't realize this until I started searching. If you don't have the skimmer number, your old skim vac should have a number on it. Also didn't realize I am supposed to vacuum with the basket in the skimmer. Catches large particles. Whatever you do, replace worn equipment and enjoy you pool more.
