Is this pump housing threaded or slip connection?

This generic pump housing is a replacement for the threaded front housing (Pentair part #355302).  Some Challenger models have a front housing with a slip connection; here is a link to that part: http://www.inyopools.com/Products/07501352019314.htm.

Does this part include o-ring?

Hello Gene, The 25357-004-000 Generic Challenger Pump Housing does not include the o-ring for the housing. The pump housing o-ring is a part # 5002-14 Housing Gasket (355329).

Hello Gary, It only has 1 drain plug with oring, the only other line that goes out from this part is Suction/discharge line.

On our challenger part I have a part number of 355460. Will this part fit although it is a different number?

Yes this would be the proper replacement housing for the Pac-Fab / Pentair Challenger.
