This 25 sw ft cartridge combo system moves and filters at a rate of 2400 gallons a hours so turn over rate in a 8 hour period would be 19,200 gallons. Turning over a pool that is 9,600 gallons twice.

Hi Sally, Yes this would work on a 12'x24' Intex pool. You may also want to consider our 18" Sand Filter W/ 3/4 HP Pump which we currently have on sale. The 18" sand filter system has twice the filtering and pump capabilities and currently is $100 less than this system.

Pool size 18' round 48" depth. Will this work? I would add inlet and outlet valves. Can a pressure gage be added? When we upgrade to a 24' round 52" depth is there a pump that would work with both? Preference is a cartridge system. We do not have a vacuum , can you recommend something that would work with this? there is no skimmer on pool. Thank you.

Hi Tim, I would recommend the Hayward 40 Sq. Ft. Filter W/ 1 HP Pump, it has a pressure gauge and would be able to operate the Hayward Automatic Pool Cleaner Wanda the Whale, Hayward Automatic Swimming Pool Cleaner Diver Dave or the Hayward Aquabug unlike the 25 Sq Ft Cartridge Filter System w/ 40 GPM Pump. With a larger capacity filter you can go longer in between cleaning out the filter.

Have a 15' x 30' x 52" oval pool with an estimated 13,000 gal of water. Have a Hayward HP50TA heat pump and thinking of purchasing a Hayward Model C2251540LSS cartridge filter pump. Is this a good fit for this pool as I estimate it is a little oversized at 40 gym? Your ad doesn't list HP but I'm guessing it is 1 HP.

Hi, Tom M. Unfortunately, this Cartridge Filter System - C2251540LSS will not be sufficient to operate the Hayward Heat Pro Heat Pump - HP50TA efficiently. That is, as the filter gets dirty, the water flow will be reduced unable to provide the minimum flow required. A system with a larger filter like the Hayward Xstream Filter 100 Sq Ft w/ 1 HP Pump - CC10092S will be better.

The 25 Sq Ft Cartridge Filter System w/ 40 GPM Pump - C2251540LSS uses the Hayward C-225 O.E.M Cartridge - CX225RE or the generic PART # NFC1220 the elements are 11-7/8" Tall x 4-5/8" for the outside diameter top and bottom, and the inside diameter is 2-1/16" for the top and bottom holes.
