The cutout in the wall of my pool is 3 and 1/2 inches. Will this light work? I think this light calls for a 3 and 5/8" cutout.

As long as the hole is smaller than the 3-5/8" you will be ok, as the light comes with a wall cutting tool which will allow you to make the 3-5/8" hole needed.

Hi Christina, The Hayward Above Ground Pool Light & Lens Kit is designed to fit into the return jet of an above ground pool. It cn fit into and existing hole of 3-5/8" or smaller.

THE WALLS ON MY POOL ARE 3/4 OF A INCH THICK, IS THERE ENOUGH TREADS ON THE LIGHT FOR THE NUT TO FIT AND SECURE FOR A WATER TIGHT SEAL . THAT IS THE PROBLEM WITH THE STA RITE 05103-925

Hi Kathy, yes this light does come with different colored lenses and you can see the various colors in the product photos. No extra bulbs are needed for the different colors and yes this does include everything needed for installation.

As long as you have the correct dimensions this light fits in, there should be no issues installing this in a step. The light dimensions are 10 x 11 x 10 inches.

Hi, You will have to drain the pool down below the light. Remove the light from the pool wall and store inside. I was unable to locate an owners manual for this product that will provide specific instruction.

We purchased our above ground pool in 1998. There is a light in the pool also. Last week we noticed the water level dropping. The liner is only 2 years old. After checking, the water has a heart drip around the light fixture. Does the fixture have a seal that can be replaced, of do I have to purchase a new fixture?

Hi, Rita. This light can fit into a 3.5" hole, it does not have the capability to act as a pool return. The Aqualuminator Above Ground Pool Light - 98600000 can act as a pool light and return.

We have a light fixture in our pool that is leaking around the fixture itself. It is an above ground doughboy pool and there is no longer an actual light in the hole. Would this work to just replace the whole thing or does it need a niche?

Hi, Alyssa. This Hayward Above Ground Pool Light can be used if the light is not part of the pool return system but a stand-alone light. A niche is not needed for the installation.

Both of our lights in our above ground salt water pool stopped working within a few days of each other. It is this exact light. When I was checking it all out I discovered water inside the sealed black box part where the cords go in. I figured the lights shorted out. What I can't figure is how water could have gotten in there in the first place. Any help?
